School of Education, Department of English Education
Dr. de Novais, in collaboration with Drs. Jill Flynn (English Education), Rosalie Dow (School of Education), Elizabeth Soslau (School of Education) and Erica Litke (Mathematics Education) is studying the affordances and constraints of integrating racial literacy across the core curriculum of the Elementary Teachers Education (ETE). This is an exploratory study to ground on-going efforts to ensure that the ETE program produces racially literate, culturally competent teachers. This study is supported by a grant from the Center for Teaching and Learning at UD.
