Do2Learn Makerspace & New Workstations
The Do2Learn Makerspace in the Education Resource Center is an area where students, faculty, and staff create, educate, help, design, and learn about educational projects such as programming and 3-D printing using the new Lulzbot Mini. Come in to play with Finch, a new robot that will introduce you to programming with fun activities, and make Squishy Circuits from conductive dough. We also have a selection of programming games, a sewing machine and building planks. For more information, please check our website.
Look for the grand opening of Do2Learn on March 11!
In addition to the Do2Learn Makerspace, the student workstations were replaced with 6 new iMacs and 6 new Dell PCs each with 16 GB memory and Windows 10 on the Dells. All workstations have SMART Notebook and Inspiration software. Camtasia, SPSS, and NVIVO are also installed on select computers.
